Jeanne says: I had thought to make this skirt into a pencil skirt this year, but my friend Eve convinced me to keep it as is. I still feel its shape is a little dated, but here I am. Love this brown leather with bright red. Overall this was an easy outfit perfectly suited for work.
I much prefer Kate’s cute outfit to mine. She can wear this flirty little skirt and look great. I wouldn’t wear the beige boots with the black tights but this looks great on her and I love her color-blocked sweater. Definitely on-trend from head to toe.
Kate says: I’m pretty happy with this super cheap fake leather skirt from Target — it’s not perfect, but definitely fits the trend. With opaque black tights, I can get away with a skirt like this for work. And this color-blocked sweater is one of my favorite fall purchases. The back is burgundy and it has elbow-patches!
I love Mom’s A-line skirt — it looks like real leather! And it’s also really hard to find fake leather skirts this length. It looks perfect with her bright sweater and leopard print accessories. I normally don’t like leopard print with black leather, but with brown it looks more sophisticated.
