Jeanne says: It would have never occurred to me to put this sweater and skirt together until I saw them near each other and realized how complementary they were. This little skirt has pushed me out of my comfort zone all winter. It doesn’t really match anything, but it works beautifully just the same. And my love for camo is already well known.

I love Kate’s little outfit. I like to see her in short skirts — I can live vicariously though her! I love how the cropped jacket balances out the short skirt. It all looks professional and youthful. She then tones down the “shortness” of the look with tights and knee high boots. Great look!

Kate says: I really liked pairing this tweed/jacquard jacket with my little polka dot tee — a super easy way to mix prints! They work well with my beloved dusty rose skirt, which I made more office-appropriate with black tights and boots. My trick is to always wear a shorter skirt with tall boots — somehow the shorter gap of leg makes a short skirt feel less short!

I really love Mom’s outfit — although I don’t love camo, it’s the perfect mix of masculine/casual and feminine/dressy. I can see why she never thought to put these pieces together, but now it seems such a natural combo! And she masters the half tuck perfectly.
