Jeanne says: This sequined skirt is a real challenge for me. I always have to peruse my closet to find a good complement to it. But we all know that saturated pink ALWAYS does the trick! This has been a great top that goes with almost anything and that is often true with bright colors like this. So I say buy saturated color whenever you can!).
Kate and I both have this sweater, a sweet little number from Target, and it qualifies as both bright and saturated. It looks especially bright because she has paired it with a dark skirt and boots. This is a good reminder that if we want our brights to pop, we should pair them with dark colors. Great look, Kate!
Kate says: I really love this cardigan paired with my pink floral top — it just feels so vibrant and springy! Paired with this cute crepe skirt and boots, this is perfect for my office. This is easily another one of my outfit uniforms — solid skirt and cardigan with a patterned top.
I think this is a super cute outfit Mom put together with her metallic skirt! The bright pink top works perfectly! I probably would have shied away from adding more metallic accents with her belt and shoes, but somehow this looks subdued, not like a glitterbomb 🙂
