I love the color mustard.  In fact, I have to restrain myself from buying apparel in this color on a regular basis.  Do NOT ask how many mustard items I returned once I came to my senses. And then there is purple.  You probably can’t tell, but these trousers are very purple.  I guess I am just a sucker for vivid color.   The style silhouette here is a universal one – at least this year.  A loose tunic-y sweater over slim pants – flattering to many women and fun to wear.

Lovely colour combo – you look great! I wear mustard often and I’m wearing a mustard/yellow wool sweater right now.

Penny – Isn’t it great when two very vibrant colors go together? This mustard color has always been one of my favorites. I am powerless when I find apparel in this color! Thanks, Jeanne

I loved this outfit! It looks nice on this blog but it was even better in person (I think the photos aren’t able to show just how vibrant the golden yellow and purple were but they were so lively.) One of my faves.
